Each session presents a new and different set of training challenges that are designed to develop you both mentally, physically and technically. A typical lesson consists of a warm up, reprise of previous techniques and the introduction of a new technique. These will be built through training with a mixture of slow and precise movements, through to full force application. In addition, drills are incorporated to help with balance and judging distances. Your mental and physical endurance will also be developed by means of short, intense bouts of cardio exercise.
At the end of each session, you will undergo a ‘pressure test’, which will challenge your ability to apply techniques and operate under stressful conditions and consequently build your confidence in dealing with attacks from non-compliant opponents.
